Trekking with botanical education and survival skills
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Sang Giri Glamping Camp in the mountains of central Bali. Upon arrival, your scout will welcome you and explain today's trekking program before he will lead you through orchards and dense rainforest. On route, he will share with you a lot of interesting information and stories about the colorful flora of this wilderness. After 1hrtrekking in medium+ difficulties condition of the terrain, you will reach Sang Janggala Jungle Camp at the riverside with the possibility for a refreshing dip in its clear mountain water. Here at the camp, your scout will explain to you some fundamental, basic knowledge how to survive in the wilderness: How to choose a suitable location for a campsite+ how to build a shelter + drinking water + building and lighting a campfire and cooking a meal on it + demonstrate bamboo bushcraft to make important tools out from bamboo. Enjoy a tasty jungle food with roots, ferns, young coffee leaves and chicken in bamboo for lunch. In the afternoon 30 mins trekking back to Sang Giri Glamping Camp, where your transfer car is awaiting you. Cleaning and shower facilities are available.
Include = Non-guided transfers from and to south Bali + English speaking tour scout + 1-1,5hrs trekking through orchards and dense rainforest + Jungle lunch + Survival skills + Mineral water. What to wear: Proper trekking boots (gumboot on rental basis at Sang Giri)+ long trousers (when available) + socks + head covering + clothes to change.
