Experiencing one of the most important Balinese ritual by a jungle river and in an ancient temple.

The MELUKAT ritual which will be held by a river in the jungle: is in order to purify the aura and karma from past lives, align and clear the chakras and remove disease to protect a person from negative forces or demonic influences. It also aimed to prevent misfortune and sicknesses.
Melukat is believed to help get rid of the bad energy that might be lingering around you.
The Second Stage of the ceremony is The BLESSING ritual in an ancient temple: is a welcoming of good spirits. During this ceremony, you receive the water over your head and body in what is referred to as a holy shower. After the holy shower, rice is then placed on the forehead for good fortune and prosperity.

This ritual ceremony is recommended to do after bad things happened to someone, like sickness, dissatisfied life/relationship, unsuccessful business, childless or just when you simply feel restless. But even also when you are having birthday, honeymoon, wedding anniversary, aiming for a career, starting a new business, asking for health and a more prosperous life.

13:30 pick up from your hotel in south Bali and transfer to Sang Giri Rainforest Camp. Upon arrival, your English speaking guide will be explaining all details, stages, and meanings of the ceremony for you to
understand. The first part of the ceremony takes place downhill (slippery) 20-25min trekking distance through the rainforest at a clear jungle river where a priest will lead you through all stages. Sarongs, flower offerings with fragrant incense sticks all are prepared. For this ritual please wear shorts or swimwear under the sarong due you will be dipped into the freshwater of the river. Back again at Sang Giri Camp, you will be dressed in proper Balinese temple clothing. Enjoy a delicious 3-course Balinese lunch. After lunch, you will be taught how
to weave your own offering basket for the next stage of the ceremony. A priest will await you in the temple for a blessing ceremony with holy water, welcoming good spirits and asking the gods for your safety,
wellbeing, happiness, and prosperity. After the blessing ceremony taking photos in the temple with the priest is possible. Enjoy a healthy organic red rice tea in the camp before your transfer car will bring you back to your hotel in south Bali.

What to bring = Bring along a white shirt for the ceremony/ please do not wear it to the camp. + extra underwear/ your underwear could get wet during the purification ceremony in the jungle river + wear shorts
