Volcano Batur Hiking

Experience the most breath taking sunrise in Bali. This trekking tour is one of the most recommended trekking experiences in Bali.

Join us on this amazing hike when we explore and experience the awesome beauty of Mt. Batur, one of only two active volcanoes in Bali. In the coolness of the night, using bright torch lights, follow a nature trail of the extinct lava up to the crater (app. 2hrs hike), where you await the sunrise. At dawn, the breathtaking panorama over the awaking islands and Bali’s largest lake. Enjoy hot coffee, tea or cappuccino at the crater edge.
Please do not feed the monkeys! Pick up is at 2 am and you are back in your hotel just in time for lunch.

No special skills necessitate but good physically conditions are required.

Include: Pick up at 01:00 am by Ac transfers + Your German (English) speaking tour guide and a local mountain guide awaits you at the trekking starting point + entrance fees + picnic breakfast (breakfast box) at the crater with freshly brewed coffee, cappuccino or tea + two 600ml. bottles of mineral water for the hike + chilled mineral water, chilled face towels after the hike upon arrival back at the transfer car.
For all participants, Clipper Discovery prepares a small backpack including cotton hand gloves + torchlight + rain poncho/ rainy season.
What to wear: Trekking boots with socks + long sleeves shirt + light jacket/ windbreaker + head covering.
What to bring: Sun lotion + camera + team spirit.
